Since 2012, Oregon’s Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) have integrated activities to advance health equity as part of the state’s innovative model of health system and payment transformation. This report reviews CCO Transformation and Quality Strategy Reports and progress reports submitted in 2018 describing CCO activities that advance health equity. The report also summarizes presentations made at an October 2018 workshop that highlighted some of these health equity activities being implemented by the CCOs. Finally, the report provides recommendations about how CCOs can continue to advance health equity.
