Commonwealth Fund: Primary Care – Our First Line of Defense

This is the first of a series of publications produced by The Commonwealth Fund intended to explain health care reform concepts to consumers.  Using larger fonts, photos, and infographics, the publication explains concepts of primary care, medical homes, and accountable care organizations.   Unfortunately, the publication is written at a fairly high level of reading literacy, and uses many statistics and citations to the literature that may not be meaningful for an average health care consumer.
