Families USA: Early Expansions of Medicaid Under National Health Care Reform

This issue brief from Families USA describes how states may implement early expansions of Medicaid eligibility based on income and/or family status before the implementation of the changes to the Medicaid program in 2014 under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, when all individuals below 133 percent of the federal poverty level will be eligible for Medicaid, regardless of family status.
