Institute of Medicine Report: Standardization of Race, Ethnicity and Language Data

This report brief summarizes the Institute of Medicine subcommittee report making recommendations for the standardization of race, ethnicity and language data for health care quality improvement.  The report brief is also available in Español (Spanish) and in 中国 (Chinese).  The full report is available for free for downloading from the Institute of Medicine.  The full report also documents the evidence of disparities in health care for granular ethnic populations and for individuals with limited English proficiency.
