The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has information about COVID-19 in Spanish and in other languages, including Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Burmese, Chinese, Dari, Farsi, French, Haitian Creole, Karen, Kinyardwanda, Korean, Nepali, Pashto, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Swahili, Tigryna, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese – unfortunately, not all the information is available in all these languages.
The Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum has crowd-sourced a collection of COVID-19 information in the following Asian and Pacific Islander languages: Arabic, Bengali/Bangla, Burmese, Chinese, Chuukese, Farsi, Fijian, Gujarati, Hakha Chin, Hawaiian, Hindi, Hmong, Illocano, Indonesian, Japanese, Kannada, Karen, Khmer/Cambodian, Korean, Lao, Malayalam, Marathi, Marshallese, Mizo Chin, Nepali, Paluan, Pashto, Panjabi/Punjabi, Rohingya, Samoan, Sindhi, Tagalog/Filipino, Tamil, te reo Maori, Telugu, Thai, Tongan, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
Cielo, an indigenous Latin American organization, has compiled collections of COVID-19 print information and videos in the following indigenous languages: Ashaninka, Aymara, Ayuujk/Mixe, Chatino, Chinanteco, Embera, Garifuna. Guna/Kuna, Guarijío, Hñähñu/nanhu / Otomi, Jñatjo/Jñartjo, Mazahua Ku’ahl, Matlatzinca, Maya, Mazateco, Nahuatl, Ñomdaa/Amuzgo, O’dam/Tepehuan, Ombeayiüts, Paipai, Quechua, Rarámuri/Tarahumar Purepecha, Tlahuica, Totonaco, Triqui, Tsome, Tu’un Savi/Mixteco, Wixarika/Huichol, Yaqui, Yoremnokki/Mayo, Zapoteco, Zoque.
The Rural Women’s Health Project also has collected COVID-19 print, audio, and video materials in Spanish and indigenous languages.
And medical students have created the COVID-19 Health Literacy Project, with print materials in the following languages: Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Creole, Chinese, Dutch, Farsi, Filipino, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Hiligaynon/Ilonggo, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Malayalam, Marathi, Navajo, Oromo, Portuguese, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Somali, Swahili, Tamil, Telugu, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
