The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) has developed media messages and talking points to address the exclusions of certain immigrants from Medicaid and participation in the new health insurance marketplaces being established through the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. AAPCHO is organizing a national petition campaign in English, Burmese, Chinese, Hindi, Khmer, Korean, Kosraean, Samoan, Tagalog, and Vietnamese to highlight these issues as Congressional debate on immigration reform legislation continues.
