The University of California, San Francisco Center for the Health Professions has issued a comprehensive report on the readiness of the health workforce in California for the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). The report was funded by The California Wellness Foundation. The report makes the following policy overall recommendations:
- Improve supply, distribution, and workforce practice models
- Improve the educational pipeline
- Increase diversity
