Davis Wright Tremaine has issued an advisory on the three final legal guidances on accountable care organizations (ACOs) issued in conjunction with the final regulations for the Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs. The guidances are from the U.S. Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission, and the Internal Revenue Service.
Davis Wright Tremaine also has issued an advisory on the structural and governance requirements for ACOs in the final regulations.
