The National Conference of State Legislatures has up-to-date resources on state implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, including state legislation implementing national health care reform, state health insurance pools and options for individuals with “high risk” and pre-existing conditions, state-level regulatory authority to review and approve health insurance rates and premiums, and state actions to establish health insurance exchanges.
