RWJF -Health Affairs Policy Brief: Enrolling More Kids in Medicaid and CHIP

This policy brief from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Health Affairs examines the challenges and some best practices for enrolling more eligible children into the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program.  As the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act expands health insurance coverage through expansions of Medicaid and the new state health insurance exchanges, the ability of these state-operated public programs to effectively enroll those eligible will become even more critical.
