The federal government now sponsors a variety of “challenges” for mobile technology application developers on the http://challege.gov website, maintained by the U.S. General Services Agency. Current health-related challenges include applications to monitor progress on Healthy People 2020 objectives and for veterans to share health information with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prizes up to $10,000 are available for these challenges.
