Here is the draft framework for the National Prevention and Health Promotion Strategy from the National Prevention and Health Promotion Council. The Council, chaired by the Surgeon General, was established by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
The Council issued its first report on July 1. 2010.
A 25-member non-federal Advisory Group to the Council has been chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, but has yet to be named.
