CMS: Additional 89 Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs Announced

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has announced the approval of 89 additional organizations as Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).  These 89 join the 27 organizations previously approved as Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs, 32 Pioneer ACOs and 6 former Physician Group Practice demonstration site ACOs, to bring the total number of active ACOs to 154.
