This is the fourth annual Health Equality Index published by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The index is a self-reported assessment of responsiveness to the needs of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender patients and families on issues of patient nondiscrimination, visitation rights, cultural competency training and and employee nondiscrimination.
