I am available for policy analysis of relevant legislation, regulations and standards. Recent work has included:
* Prepared analyses of federal legislation, including the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)
*Prepared comments on implementing regulations for the HITECH Act to the Office of National Coordinator for HIT and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
*Conducted background research and prepared comments on several proposed models for medical homes
*Prepared analyses of requirements for “meaningful use of certified health electronic health records” and their alignment with proposed standards for medical homes
